Meet Johani: a vibrant native of Puerto Rico who’s made quite a journey across the U.S.! Johani moved from sunny Puerto Rico to the heart of St. Louis, MO, in 1997, then ventured to Florida in 2013, where she met the love of her life. A military move brought her to New Mexico in 2022, and shortly after, she welcomed her precious daughter, Sofia, in 2023. But don’t worry—Florida holds a special place in Johani’s heart, and she’s eager to return one day!
If Johani could have any superpower, she’d choose mind-reading, because who wouldn’t want to know what’s on everyone’s minds? She’s got a fantastic bucket list goal to learn Italian and explore Italy, combining her love for languages with her passion for travel.
Johani’s vocal talents are nothing short of extraordinary. After dazzling everyone on a holiday company cruise, it’s no surprise that her go-to karaoke songs are from Alicia Keys and Adele. Her impressive musical range was showcased early on when she sang the national anthem at her high school graduation!

With over 13 years of experience in the foodservice equipment industry, Johani Hernandez Soto has established a robust career path from order entry at Star Manufacturing to quoting with Eaton Marketing. Since joining Eaton in 2018, Johani has been a pivotal part of the team, contributing significantly to the sales process and taking pride in helping clients find the right equipment for their businesses.
Johani’s favorite aspect of working at Eaton is the company’s flexibility and understanding that “life happens,” which allows for a healthy work-life balance. She values Eaton’s family-oriented culture, which fosters a sense of belonging and appreciation. Over the years, her role has evolved, expanding from a traditional quoting position to a more involved role in the sales process, providing a greater sense of ownership over projects. She has particularly enjoyed working on military projects and with the Margaritaville franchise, highlighting their adaptability and broad range of experiences.
